Bhavans fraternity took a gloriously designed journey through  God’s Own Country on 6th December as IES celebrated the 14th Annual Day in its campus. The eventful day was honoured by the influential presence of the Chief Guest, Dr. K.S. Radhakrishnan, the former Chairman of Kerala Public Service Commission and the former Vice Chancellor, Sree Sankaracharya  University of Sanskrit, Mr. N. K. Ramachandran Menon , the Chairman of Bhavans Middle East, Mrs. Sudha Ramachandran Menon, Mr.Sooraj Ramachandran, the Vice Chairman of Bhavans Middle East, Mrs. Divya Rajesh Ramachandran, the Director, Bhavans Middle East, Mr. P. B. Krishnadas Menon, the Director, Bhavans Kuwait, Mr. T. Premkumar, the Principal of Indian Education School, Mr. Mahesh Iyer, the Principal of Smart Indian School, Mrs. Rathi Raveendran, the Principal of Jack and Jill, the Vice Principals and the KG Supervisors of IES and SIS. The august gathering was welcomed by Aiswarya Babu, the Cultural Secretary of the school. She extended bouquets of warm words to the distinguished guests and offered immense gratitude to Mr. Ali Judiyan Al Rashidi, the sponsor of the school, Mr Mohammed Khamis, the Manager at sponsor’s office and Mrs Shaima Zaki, the Administrative Manager, Bhavans Kuwait. Mr. T. Premkumar, the Principal of IES presented the Annual Report articulating the commitment to excellence and the relentless pursuit of achieving the best. Dr. K.S. Radhakrishnan, the chief guest, in his address, appreciated the chosen theme of the Annual day and congratulated the Chairman, the Principal, the teachers and the students for their brilliance and hard work. ‘Keraleeyam’, the scintillating dance drama by the students of IES commemorated the spirit of art and culture, foraying into the resplendent world of the rich tradition of Kerala. There was a rain of awards and accolades for the pedagogues par excellence for their meritorious service offered to the school. Students who reigned supreme in the field of academics were duly honoured. The audience applauded, enchanted by the splendid array of events. Guests admired with great enthusiasm, songs and dances along with the alluring props and settings that enthused them throughout. A truly splendid grand finale brought together all the performers of the evening. The Annual Day celebrations were indeed a befitting farewell to the year, leaving behind brighter hopes for tomorrow.
