Indian Educational School celebrated the 71st Republic Day on the auspicious morning of 26 January 2020 with patriotic fervor and zeal. A day of pride for all, the campus was decked up with tricolor balloons. Bhavanites, clad in tricoloured attires, added charm to the celebrations that followed. The Principal of IES, Mr. T. Premkumar unfurled the national flag amidst loud cheers. Following the Indian National anthem, the Student Council and the BSS Cadets presented a flamboyant march past. After the march past, the Principal of IES, Mr. T. Premkumar, read out Indian President Ram Nath Kovind’s speech to the gathering. The teachers of IES mellifluously rendered patriotic songs reminiscing the glorious tradition of India. Mr. E.P Prasad, subject co-ordinator, English, hosted the show with an endearing charm. Chanting ‘ Bharath Matha Ki Jai, exchanging warm greetings and relishing sweets, everyone took away fond memories of the day.
