A team of representatives from four reputed US Universities;Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, University of Houston, The University of Kansas and University of Pittsburgh visited Indian Education School Kuwait, on 9 October, for an informative and interactive session with the students and parents of Grade 10 –12. The goal of the university group visit was to create a counselling-focused, personal experience for parents and students by not just sharing their program details, but also help students to discover, through personal interaction the appropriate educational pathways for them. The session began with a counselling focused presentation by  Mr. Rohit Assistant Director of Outreach, who explained in detail why U.S. remains the most popular destination for international student and its impact on the world today. In addition, he explored the changing world of careers focusing on the increasing “convergence” with subjects with special emphasis on the importance of subjects. He also elicited with real examples to students and parents of what careers will look like in the next 10 years. The active participation of parents and students was highly appreciated by the US representatives who assured to provide many more informative sessions in future.
