Bhavans Kuwait hosted the premier edition of BISQ under the aegis of Bhavans Middle East on 23 November at the IES auditorium. KQ Matters, after the 9 long years of being a stand-alone star in the field of quizzing, metamorphosed into Bhavans Inter School Middle East Quiz, with the sole motto of catering to the quizoholics of GCC. The eventful occasion was graced by the presence of the Chief Guest, the Principal of Indian Community School (Amman Branch), Mr. Rajesh Nair and the Vice- Principal, Dr. Mary Issac, the Chairman Bhavans Middle East, Mr. N.K. Ramachandran Nair, the Principal of Indian Educational School, Mr. T. Premkumar, the Principal of Smart Indian School, Mr. Mahesh Iyer, and the Principal of Jack and Jill, Mrs. Rathi Raveendran. The Head Girl Liana Maria Joesph extended the warmest welcome to the gathering. Mrs. Meenakshi Nayyar, the Vice Principal of Co-curricular Activities introduced BISQ, the online form of quizzing and set the ambiance for the day. After the exciting and mind-boggling five rounds, encompassing the fields of art, literature, music, entertainment, science and technology, computer and gadgets, sports, history and geography and current affairs the quiz came to a conclusion declaring the students of Indian Community School (Amman Branch), Kuwait, as the winners. The New Indian School, Bahrain won second place. The third place was won by Indian Learners Own Academy, Kuwait. The winners were felicitated with a memento and cash prize. The Principal, Mr. T. Premkumar presented a memento to the Chief Guest. Aaron Thomas of 11E and Sana Parkar of 11C where the emcees of the day. Mr. Sriee Aswathaman, the Head of the Department, French and Mrs. Jezy Joesph, a teacher from the Department of English (Primary Wing), took the stage by storm by their flamboyant persona and sagacious presentation. Mr. Sriee Aswathaman, the Head of the Department, French proposed the vote of thanks.
