BHAVAN PROMOTES ‘DEAR’ AND MEDITATION FOR THE WELL BEING OF THE STUDENTS

Bhavan believes that learning happens only if you have a healthy mind for which it has to be nourished. This is being catered to by practising meditation for 5 minutes after the second break. Meditation mitigates the symptoms of stress and anxiety if practised on a regular basis. It also refreshes the mind and prepares it to deal with difficult situations more easily. The mind is also enriched by inculcating the habit of reading which is termed ‘DEAR’(Drop Everything And Read) for which 15 minutes have been allotted every Tuesday morning. These steps prove that Bhavan believes that while reading makes one a full man, meditation is essential to feel well and live a happy life.
