The Commerce students of Indian Educational School, Kuwait conducted its 4th year of Grandpa Joe’s on November 28th, 2018 in the school’s basketball court. The motive of this organizational activity was to provide the commerce students a firsthand experience of financing, marketing, auditing, production etc. and also to let them know the pressure of a real business world, in a small range. The Senior Vice Principal, Mr. Suresh V. Balakrishnan inaugurated the event at 9.10 am, by cutting the ribbon. The students of classes 11 C and 12 C were divided into 7 groups, which consisted of 5 members each, that formed the sales department. Mouthwatering dishes were displayed and we waited impatiently for the students, who eagerly awaited the first break. The sale continued in the second break as well. The event progressed as the teachers were served dishes like Bhelpuri, Pav Bhaji, Chocolate Tarts, Shawarma, etc. in their staffrooms, during the gap between the first and second break. All the food items were in high demand and the smile on every face was a proof that they enjoyed the dishes thoroughly. We would like to thank our teachers Mr. Samuel and Mr. Sushanth for their incessant support and guidance throughout our venture. It was truly a memorable day that we will all remember forever!!!
