IES proves unbeatable again by winning the overall championship in Expressions 2019- the inter-school cultural fest, hosted by Indian English Academy School-Don Bosco on November 2. The special feat of winning the championship trophy for the fourth time in succession brought in laurels galore for the team IES. The supremely talented Expressions team comprising 118 students led by the incredibly strong and dedicated teachers of IES, won off the competition with 8 first prizes, 10 second prizes, and a single third prize, with a total of 320 points. The school coordinators of the event, Ms. Sujatha Jaishankar and Ms. Ramila R.C. Miranda, (Department of Social Science), the talented faculty of Rhythmscapes, the cultural wing of Bhavans, Kuwait, and all the teachers tirelessly strived by guiding the students under their care to give their best in the competition. Mr. N.K Ramachandran Menon, Chairman, Bhavans Middle East, and Mr. T. Premkumar, Principal, Indian Educational School lauded the winners and motivated Bhavanites to strive smartly for the upcoming competitions. Bhavans offers ample opportunities for the students to gain substantial experience, showcase skills, analyze and evaluate outcomes and uncover personal aptitude to leave their mark in the wide world.
