Jleeb, April 15, 2019: Vishu, the harvest festival and New Year of Kerala, a southern state in India was celebrated with traditional fervour in Bhavans. The Bhavanites rejoiced with much ceremonial splendor as Bhavans family stood as one in front of the abundant ‘Vishukani’ which involves the seasonal fruits, vegetables, kanikonna, rice, gold, clothes, coins and holy texts arranged on a plentiful platter. The expatriates relived the auspicious moments of their good old days as our Chairman and Principal gave ‘Vishukaineetam’ to all the teaching and non- teaching staff in school. The propitious celebrations ended on a sweet note with payasam arranged by the members of the staff club.
