Indian Educational School Bags the Award for the Best School Contributor 2019 in IIK Young Reporter 

‘IIK Young Reporter Program’ is an initiative from that started in the year 2012 to encourage the writing skills of the young talented students here in Kuwait.  This year, IIK had successfully conducted Young Reporter Award Nite on Thursday, 31st October 2019 at Gurukul Auditorium, Salmiya.  During the event, IIK had announced The Best IIK Young Reporter of the Year 2019 and Best School Contributor of the Year 2019. Lakshmi Nanda Madhusoodhanan, of 8B, was declared as ‘ The Best IIK Young Reporter’ for the Year 2019 for the Independence Day Supplement for the article titled “Our Duties as an Indian Citizen”. Rashmi Nair was awarded ‘The Most Heart-warming Article’ for the article titled “Our Materialistic World”.  Shreya Varsha Arun of 11 C, was awarded ‘The Most Teacher Dedicated Article’ for the article “Mama Priya Samskrutha Adhyapakow”. Nakshatra Neerja Binu of 7F won the first place in Spin-a-Yarn after presenting a mind-boggling and witty tale on the topic ‘ Smile Away Your Blues’. Based on the highest number of new Young Reporter and Co-ordinators, the highest number of articles published in IIK for this program and the highest number of awards won by students for the year 2019, Indian Educational School, Kuwait was awarded the Best School Contributor for the year 2019. All the students from IES present at the event received the trophy during the Award Nite. Opportunity to develop interest beyond the classroom and curriculum is an integral part of Bhavans life.
