Eid al-Fitr is a festival of prayers, joy, happiness, and brotherhood. The kindergarten wing of  Indian Educational School, Kuwait and Jack & Jill  celebrated Eid al-Fitr on 12th June 2019, with great fervour and excitement. Sprightly kids turned up  in colourful outfits and participated in the special assembly  in addition to a host of other activities. The celebrations kicked off with Quran recital, and later with an informative presentation by one of our KG2 students who conveyed the message of peace and harmony. The standout programme was the  delightful dance presented by the kindergarten students. Kids were eager to know the story and the significance of celebrating this festival.   The heart-touching story of love and sacrifice of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) really impressed the children when the video was played in their respective classes. The teachers decorated the bulletin board with moon and stars to mark the occasion. They created beautiful cards for their parents. The best time for them was the colouring activity. As it was the last working day prior to the summer break, they also had a class party in which children indulged in an array of food and shared their snacks with their friends. Eid al-Fitr is all about sharing love, and the teachers were happy to see the bonding of children with their friends, as they wished each other     “ Eid Mubarak” and  ‘HAPPY SUMMER HOLIDAYS’.
