It is truly said, “God could not be everywhere and therefore he made mothers.” Mothers are guardian angels to us as they protect us from all adversities.   Mother’s Day is a celebration honoring the mother of the family, as well as motherhood, maternal bond, and the influence of mothers in the society. There is only one extraordinary relationship in this mortal life which effortlessly scores above all other known relationships on this Earth i.e. the relationship of the mother, which is truly priceless in terms of her countless love, dedication, and devotion towards her family. To acknowledge the presence of all mothers around the globe, Mother’s Day was celebrated on May 12th, 2019 by the KG students of IES and JACK AND JILL and they had something more special and unique to bring a smile on their beloved mother’s face. They passionately got involved in making beautiful craft work with the pictures of their mothers, pasted inside the crafts as a gift for their mothers and a colouring activity was also conducted with great zeal. The kids spent the whole day singing songs and fondly listening to the stories about mother’s love. Children too shared anecdotes about their mothers. One of them said, “A mother is an incredible gift of God and that she is the one who lovingly gives shape and direction to our lives.” Mother Teresa once said, “It’s not how much we give, but how much love we put into giving”, and this statement holds true for every mother.  Heart-warming feelings filled the air with intimacy, gratitude, appreciation and acknowledgement. The little ones proudly echoed the quote “Mother will be our door to Paradise so, let’s love, respect and care for our mothers everyday”. The bulletin boards were decorated with attractive pictures and conveyed an important message of being humble, respectful and obedient to the parents. All in all it was an enjoyable and memorable day for each and every child which left an indelible mark on the innocent hearts.
