The Virtual Sports Meet of Bhavans Indian Education School with the inspiring theme ‘Fitness for All’ was held on the virtual platform on 21 November, 2020. This historical event was graced by the presence of the Chief Guest, Mr. Sooraj Ramachandran, the Vice Chairman of Bhavans Middle East, the Guest of Honour, Ms. Divya Rajesh Ramachandran, the Director of Bhavans Middle East along with the other dignitaries namely, Mr. N. K. Ramachandran Menon, the Chairman of Bhavans Middle East, Mr. T. Premkumar, the Principal of Indian Education School, and the Principals and Vice Principals of all the other Bhavans Middle East schools. Ms. Anselma Tessy, Senior Vice Principal of IES, Ms. Meenakshi Nayyar, Vice Principal, Middle Wing, IES, Ms. Lalitha Premkumar, Vice Principal, KG & Primary, IES, Ms. Shaima Zaki, Administrative Manager, and Mr. Mohammad Khamis, Manager- Owner’s Office were also a part of this Virtual Sports Meet, 2020.
In his virtual address, Mr. Sooraj Ramachandran asserted the significance of sportsmanship and having the right attitude. The audience erupted in applause and cheering as the talented students of IES stepped up the entertainment quotient of the riveting show with spell binding drill displays, agility, and acrobatics. The finalists were shortlisted from around 2000 participants for the event. After an impressive finale, the following students were declared winners in different categories.
The Virtual Sports Meet was marked by the individual performances of parents and grandparents who did their best with the spirit of sportsmanship.

The virtual certificates for the winners were presented by the Chairman, Bhavans Middle East, Mr. N. K. Ramachandran Menon, and by the Director Bhavans Middle East, Ms. Divya Rajesh Ramachandran. In her closing thoughts, Ms. Divya Rajesh Ramachandran appreciated Dr. Murugaiyan, the Head of the Department of Physical Education and the IES team for organizing a successful event of this magnitude. The special invitees were given a sapling as a token of appreciation. The emcess of the day were Abipsa, Vaishnavi, Jayden, Zara and Adithyan.
