Bhavans Kuwait Organises Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign

With an aim to raise awareness of the signs and symptoms of breast cancer and support women to reduce their breast cancer risks, Indian Education School, Kuwait, under the aegis of the department of Science, launched a breast cancer campaign titled ‘Early Detection Saves Life’ on April 9, 2022, at the school clinic as a part of Staff Welfare Programme 2022. Dr. Susovana Sujit Nair, a renowned Medical Oncologist, who is currently employed at the Department of Medical Oncology, Kuwait Cancer Control Centre, headed the campaign for the female staff members at the school. Almost hundred employees were examined by her. Principal, Mr. T. Premkumar and the Vice Principals of Indian Education School thanked and extolled Dr. Susovana Sujit Nair profusely for spending her precious time with the staff of the school. The staff of IES thanked the Chairman of Bhavans Middle East for his support and encouragement to organize such events in the school. The campaign themed ‘Early Detection Saves Life’ ended with a reminder, “Knowing it exists is not enough, get informed and pass it on”.
