IES Organises ‘Shubhashish’ to Bid Adieu to Its Outgoing Batch

‘Shubhashish 2022’, a farewell function for the outgoing batch of grade 12 was organised on April 16, 2022.  The programme rolled on with a prayer song by Mr. Sunil Kumar Menon, Head of the Department of Sanskrit. Ms. Asha Ebey Samuel, the event coordinator and the Head of the Department of Computer Science, welcomed the august gathering. Mr. N. K. Ramachandran Menon, Chairman, Bhavans Middle East, wished the students good luck in all their future endeavours and reminded their responsibility towards their parents. Mr. T. Premkumar, Principal, IES, expressed his gratitude to the parent community, the teaching fraternity and the students for their endurance and support in the testing times of the ongoing pandemic. In his message, he wished the students with all good prospects and reminded them to treat hard work as their best friend. Ms. Meenakshi Nayyar, Vice Principal, Senior Wing, expressed her best wishes to the students and urged them not to wait for opportunities instead grab the opportunities that come their way. Mr. Binoy Mathew, the Vice Principal, Middle Wing, wished good luck to the students and in his message urged the students to discharge their duties diligently and with integrity. The class representatives, Abhishekh Jayaprakash of 12A, Vismaya Vadana Ullasa of 12B, Sharon Mathew of 12C, Devi Nandana P.D. of 12 D, Aaryan Mickey Zacharia of 12E and Jerome John Thomas of 12 F, shared their fond memories at Bhavans with a sense of gratitude for their teachers and parents. Mrs. Suchitra Sen, mother of Devnarayan Jiju of grade 12 shared her pleasant and rewarding experiences of being associated with Bhavans and expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the entire Bhavans family for shaping their wards into fine human beings. Mr. T. Premkumar, Principal, IES, dedicated a solemn oath in the form of a prayer. Lighted candles were passed to all the children that symbolized a reassurance of a bright and promising future. The unveiling of the class photographs by the Principal, Vice Principals, and the class representatives was yet another highlight of the day reminiscing the students on the prized moment of their school life. The students received their admit cards and mementos from the Chairman and the Principal. The programme came to an end with the vote of thanks proposed by Mr. Samuel Hanimod, the subject coordinator of the Department of Commerce.
