Bhavans Indian Education School, Kuwait, has already acquired an endearing habit of being always on a winning streak when it comes to academics. Its emphatic victory bagging the most coveted trophy for the ‘Best Performing School’ from Indian Business Forum Council, Kuwait – for the third time in succession – is just an incontrovertible proof of its established custom of notching up the chains of resounding triumphs in academics. In a grand ceremony held in the Kuwait Embassy Hall on March 25, 2022, Mr. N.K. Ramachandran Menon, Chairman, Bhavans Middle East, and Mr. T. Premkumar, Principal, IES, received the trophy from H.E. Sibi George, the Ambassador of India to Kuwait, amidst rounds of thunderous applause from the distinguished guests embodying the elite India diaspora of Kuwait. For Bhavanites, winning is not a happenstance but an attitude as well as a habit. For the past three years they had been the toppers in the CBSE examination of grade12 Science stream and they were the Kuwait toppers in Science and Commerce streams in the academic year 2019-20. Apart from considering the performance of the toppers, IBPC had also checked the overall performance of the entire batch that had written the CBSE examinations by collecting the number of students who had scored 95% or more in aggregate. The number of students who had scored marks in the range 90 -100 and 80-90 and the over-all scores of the batch were also considered for giving away one of the most prestigious awards for educational excellence in the sands of Kuwait.
