Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan (Indian Educational School) premises exploded with excitement and exuberance when the CBSE grade 12 results were published by the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi, India on May 28, 2017.  The cream-colored walls of Bhavans Kuwait resonated with the euphoria of the twofold victory of having topped the Science and Commerce Streams in Kuwait and the accomplishment of cent percent pass of the 7th batch of students who appeared for the AISSCE.

Stardom with Twin Delight

Bhavans has reaffirmed its numero uno position imposingly in academics with the exceptional accomplishment of having topped both the Science and the Commerce streams to be the best among fourteen other Indian Schools in the country.

Golden Harvest

Bhavans recorded 100% success in the board examinations.

17 out of the 52 students of the seventh batch of class 12 recorded a splendid 90% and above with many A1 grades to their credit. Of the 38 candidates 13 students scored ‘90% and above’ in the Science Stream while 4 out of the 14 candidates in the Commerce Stream made it to the highfliers’ club by scoring ‘90% and above’.

An awe-inspiring 60% Bhavanites secured A1 in English. Aditya Jaypal who scored 98% in English is the subject topper.

The Mathematics Department of IES stands tall with a Kuwait topper to its credit. Anshika Shrivastav scored a whopping 100 in Math. 27% of Bhavanites scored 95% and above. 35% of them obtained A1 grades.

Anirudha Ramesh and Aayesha Wasmiya Sageer scored 99%  in Computer Science and are the toppers in the school.  30% Bhavanites who secured A1 also scored 95% and above in the subject.

Anshika and Anirudha topped Chemistry scoring 98% in the subject. 26.3% of the candidates obtained A1. 17% of the total candidates secured A1 in Biology. Anshika Shrivastav scored 97 in Biology to be the topper in the subject. The highest scorer in Physics is Anirudha Ramesh. With a marvellous 98% he has also joined the group of country toppers. 32% of the candidates obtained A1 in Physics.

Sakina Juzer Bankoda topped Informatics with an impressive score of 99%. Out of 16 students, 7 (44%) obtained A1 grades in Informatics with an inspiring score of 95% and above.

Sakina Juzer Bankoda of the Commerce Stream is the top scorer in Business Studies (95%), Economics (98%), and Accountancy (95%).
