I would also like to extend my heartfelt appreciation to our Chairman, Mr. N.K. Ramachandran Menon, whose unwavering support and visionary leadership have been pivotal in reaching these milestones. His foresight and dedication to building a school that prepares students to meet the evolving challenges of a dynamic world have been invaluable.

My sincere thanks go to our Vice Chairman, Mr. Sooraj Ramachandran, whose strategic guidance and commitment to the institution have been key to driving our progress. Additionally, I wish to express my gratitude to our esteemed Directors, Ms. Divya Ramachandran and Mr. Madhav Rajesh, whose dedication and leadership have also played an essential role in our success. Their combined focus on fostering an innovative and inclusive environment has shaped our vision and helped us set new standards in education.

To support our vision of holistic development, we have made significant investments in upgrading our school’s infrastructure. These improvements include installing new flooring throughout the campus, renovating our assembly areas, upgrading washroom facilities, and laying synthetic tracks in the playgrounds. We are confident that these enhancements will provide our students with a more conducive environment for both academic and personal growth, ensuring they have access to the best facilities to thrive.

Our vision at Bhavans remains steadfast—to shape individuals who are academically excellent and morally sound. Recently, we were honoured with the prestigious Best School Award in Kuwait and across the Middle East for last year’s Grade 10 results, showcasing our commitment to academic excellence and holistic development. We are particularly proud of Nakshtra Neeraja Binu, Fida Ancy, and Dharitri Acharya, who secured the top three positions in Kuwait, with Nakshtra and Fida achieving first and second across the Gulf region. Additionally, Ethan Bobby Kurien and Swayam Adappa earned second and third ranks among Kuwait’s Grade 12 toppers, further highlighting the strength of our academic programmes. These outstanding performances are a testament to our students’ hard work and our unwavering commitment to excellence.

The exemplary performances of our students in this year’s board examinations have set new benchmarks, highlighting our emphasis on academic rigour and the effectiveness of our educational programmes. In Grade XII Science, top performers were Jiya George Varghese (97.6%), Mohammed Izaan Khan (97.2%), and Karthik Sundram (97%). In Grade XII Commerce, our topper Abipsa Pandey achieved 97%. She was followed by Shambhavi Durgesh (96.2%) and Anju Hariharan (95%). In Grade X, leading scorers were Ashlin Susan Benjamin (98%), Akshita Tagore (97.8%), and both Manha Anees Shina and Abdullah Usman Latif (97.6%). It is noteworthy that none of our school toppers relied on external tuition, underscoring the strength of our academic foundation and the dedication of our educators. Additionally, several students achieved perfect scores in key subjects like Chemistry, Psychology, Informatics, Computer Science, and Mathematics, showcasing their remarkable mastery.

Building on these academic triumphs, we are incredibly proud to announce that our Commerce topper, Abhipsa Panday, has secured a place at the prestigious University of Oxford for the B.A. Economics and Management course. This outstanding achievement reflects the calibre of our students and the high standards we uphold at our school.

In the field of sports, our students have continued to shine brightly, securing top positions in numerous events at the cluster level. Their dedication and hard work have earned them the opportunity to represent Kuwait at national competitions, showcasing their talents on a larger stage. These achievements reflect not only their athletic abilities but also their commitment to excellence and teamwork. We are immensely proud of their perseverance and sportsmanship, which have brought great honour to our institution.

Our students have also excelled in the field of science. Their performance in the prestigious Sastra Prathibha Contest has been nothing short of outstanding. For the seventh time since the contest’s inception, we are proud to have received the coveted Acharya J.C. Bose Sastra Puraskar. This recognition is a testament to the hard work of our students and the dedication of our faculty, who inspire a love for science and encourage exploration of India’s rich contributions to the field.

Strengthening student discipline and safety remains a paramount focus for us. To uphold high behavioural standards and enhance the quality of our school, we have established a Discipline Committee and a School Evaluation Committee, both comprising dedicated teachers and led by our Senior Leadership Team. These committees work collaboratively to continuously assess and improve our educational programmes, overall performance, and maintain a positive learning environment.

To ensure the well-being of our students, we have enhanced safety measures, including the conduct of fire drill practices, implementing a teacher-led supervision system on every school bus, and introducing live bus tracking. These initiatives are designed to provide a secure and responsive environment for all students.

Furthermore, we recognise the importance of teacher stability in delivering quality education. Henceforth, all teachers will be under the school’s sponsorship, strengthening long-term relationships between teachers and students while supporting professional development and job security.

Recognising the pivotal role of our teachers, we are committed to fostering an environment where they feel empowered, supported, and appreciated. We value the engagement of our parent community and are in the process of establishing a Parent Focus Group. This group will act as the collective voice of our parent community, fostering continuous dialogue and strengthening the spirit of cooperation between the school and parents.

Amidst our successes, we have faced heart-wrenching losses. We mourn the passing of members of our school community who have touched our lives with their kindness. As we grieve together, we find strength in our unity and continue forward, trusting in God Almighty for comfort and guidance. Our prayers are with their families during this painful time.

As we look to the future, we are excited about the introduction of specialised coaching classes for entrance exams to professional courses and the upcoming Ei ASSET assessments, which will further enhance our students’ academic journey.

Together, guided by our shared commitment and God’s grace, we will empower all students to unlock their full potential and become the best version of themselves. Let’s continue to build a sanctuary for our children—a haven brimming with positivity and nobility, where values are not just present but deeply embedded in our everyday interactions and experiences.
