CHAIRMAN’S MESSAGE

Greetings and Thanks to the Bhavans Family Members in the Gulf region.

As we place our step into our newest venture – I would like to extend a thanks giving for the memories of our growth in the past years.

Bhavans started its journey in the Middle East in the year 2000 with a humble beginning – KUWAIT Kendra of Bhavans. After a gap of six long years, in the year 2006 the first Bhavan’s school in KUWAIT, popularly known as Bhavans came into existence.

The first Bhavans school in the Middle East, christened as Indian Education School, started with a totally different education concept – the first day boarding Indian school in the region. Saturday remedial classes for children who want to shine more than their identified efficiency. Teachers spent hours on discussion for academic improvements. The Chairman and the Managing committee was available for parents any time of the day for discussion on any issues that they faced. Bhavans turned to be the first choice of parents who really are concerned or focused on the future of their children. Bhavans was an envy for neighboring schools and since then many schools in Kuwait follow the philosophy of Bhavans – Saturday classes, extended teaching hours on working days and what not. This has thus become the reality for Bhavans – We lead and others follow.

Education for the young mind was the major concern of Bhavans and we wanted to spread our wings to the neighbouring GCC states.

Private International English School of Bhavans started in the year 2010 with fully IT and WIFI enabled class rooms and smart boards, the first Indian school in the region with such facilities. The school reached its full capacity within a period of 4 years. Another flagship school of Bhavans Middle East with over 2000 children on waiting list during every academic year. Bahrain Indian School in Bahrain and AlSaad Indian School in Al Ain started in April 2014 to support the need of our parents in Bahrain and Al Ain. Both the schools are expected to reach its full capacity by next academic year. In 2019 April Bhavan’s second school in Al Ain – Bhavans Pearl Wisdom School started its operations – KG 1 to Grade 8.

Bhavans Ajman started operations as a full fledged middle school in 2017 and is now a CBSE affiliated school up to secondary level.

The need of a second school in KUWAIT was necessitated with the increased number of children who sought Bhavans for their education needs and the outflow from the feeder school, Jack and Jill, in Mangaf.

Smart Indian School, the flag ship of Bhavans in Kuwait came into existence in second half of 2016 and now reached a capacity of over 1750 children from KG 1 to Grade 10 with over 140 smart, efficient experienced teachers to look after the children of the school. The school has a capacity of 4500 children and is hopefully expected to reach full capacity by year 2021. And if the adverse employment and market conditions do affect us then definitely by the year 2022. God bless Bhavans.

Following Bhavans in Kuwait, Abudhabi, Bhavans in Bahrain, in Ajman and in Al Ain – we grew beyond boundaries and dreams.

Dubai the dream city of the world was always in our dream and vision. We were eyeing opportunities to place a mark in this beautiful city. KHDA approved our application to set up an Indian school and Knowledge Fund was quick enough to allot an area of nearly 20000 Sqm for our dream school -Pearl Wisdom School. Thanks to KHDA and Knowledge Fund for all support and timely advice.

Registration for admission for academic year 2020-21 has started for KG 1 to Grade 5 and admission process will commence from January 2020 when the principal will take charge of the functioning of the school.

We hope we can partner well with the parents in imparting education for the brilliant youngsters, to enable them to grow to be the seasoned global citizens of tomorrow. We have the confidence supported by our experience.

Now with over 10,000 children in our care and the thousand plus teachers supporting them mentally- emotionally and catering effectively to their academic needs. I would like to extend my heartfelt appreciation to the teachers for their commitment to fulfil our promises to parents.

While thanking the parents for the trust in us, we assure you that we are always with you to provide a happy schooling for your child.

God bless all of us – Let noble thoughts come to us from every side.
